By accessing or using the JSON & XML Tools website and applications (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. The Service is provided by Tvishi Tech Services (“we”, “us”, “our”).
1. Description of the Service
We provide free, browser-based tools to edit, format, validate, compare, and convert JSON and XML data. Processing occurs locally in your browser unless you explicitly use a feature that fetches content from a URL you supply.
2. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or to process illegal content
- Attempt to disrupt, overload, scrape, or reverse-engineer the Service or its infrastructure
- Remove or circumvent copyright notices, ads, or security measures where applicable
- Misrepresent your affiliation with us or impersonate our operators
- Automate abusive traffic (bots) that degrades availability for other users
3. Your content and responsibility
You are solely responsible for the JSON, XML, schemas, and other data you load into the Service. We do not review your content. You must have the right to use any data you process and must comply with applicable laws (including data protection rules for personal data).
4. No professional advice
The Service is provided for general productivity and educational purposes. Output from our tools (formatted files, diffs, validations, conversions) is not guaranteed to be error-free. Do not rely on the Service as the sole basis for critical production, legal, financial, or medical decisions without independent verification.
5. Intellectual property
The Service, including its design, branding, and original text, is owned by us or our licensors. Open-source libraries used in the Service remain under their respective licenses. You retain ownership of data you create or import; we claim no ownership over your files.
6. Advertising
The Service may display third-party advertisements (including through Google AdSense). Your interactions with ads are governed by the advertiser’s terms and policies. We are not responsible for products or services advertised by third parties.
7. Disclaimer of warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR FREE OF ERRORS.
8. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE PAST TWELVE MONTHS (TYPICALLY ZERO) OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (USD $100).
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising out of your misuse of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms.
10. Third-party services and links
The Service may link to or integrate third-party sites, CDNs, and APIs. We are not responsible for third-party content, availability, or practices. Your use of third-party services is at your own risk.
11. Changes and termination
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We may update these Terms by posting a new version with an updated date. Continued use after changes means you accept the revised Terms.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory consumer protection laws in your country require otherwise.
